About the roomOverview

The prestigious French architect Jean Nouvel has designed the two Presidential Suites. These ultra-exclusive Suites have two names of particular importance to the concept of design: the photographers Araki and Fleischer. As the original idea is that this floor be devoted to pleasure, the architect has decided to use the walls to display the work of these two photographers, who play with interesting images of the human body and nature.

The Suites are incredibly spacious (140 m²) and consist of a hall, a master bedroom, a unique panoramic bedroom, a large lounge area with a separate dining area, two walk-in closets, two bathrooms and an additional toilet. Both Presidential Suites have large windows with panoramic views and a unique guest room boasting views of Madrid, with a floor-to-ceiling glass wall looking onto the street. There are two themes to choose from: black (Fleischer) and white (Araki).

Gastronomy

The glamorous Lágrimas Negras Restaurant designed by Christian Liagre, offers traditional innovative Spanish fine dining and a wine cellar with over 750 different wines.

The MAD Restaurant situated on the E-floor and designed by Christian Liagre, offers a more dietetic, fast and economic option, without lousing the quality of the product.

Bar-Lounge

The Marmo Bar Designed by Marc Newson is the place to see and be seen. The bar is a single 8.25m/27ft long unit made of white Statuario Venato marble.

On the 13th floor Bar Skynight Designed by Jen Nouvel is a cool place to relax listening live jazz or chill out music.

Wellness

The “Spa & Fitness Centre” is located in the attic, boasting impressive views right across Madrid. There is a top-floor 15m/49ft indoor swimming pool: “The Steel Pool”, designed by Jean Nouvel, flanked by relaxing loungers.
