Finca Cortesín Hotel, Golf & Spa is a truly magnificent development situated just 2 kilometres from the sandy beaches of South of Spain, between Marbella and Sotogrande. Opened in October 2008, the 5-star deluxe hotel will offer one and two bedroom suites, all lavishly appointed and elegantly furnished, with high ceilings and the finest materials.

The hotel’s luxurious spa is a heaven of relaxation, complementing the property’s sports facilities, exclusive boutique shops and restaurants. Finca Cortesín is also home to a championship standard 18 holes golf course, designed by Cabell Robinson, together with the prestigious Jack Nicklaus Academy. Finca Cortesin will be for the coming years the official hotel for the “Volvo World Match Play Championship”.

Gastronomy

The restaurants at Finca Cortesín Golf Hotel & Spa are based around 2 main concepts: exclusivity and exceptional quality. Here, guests can enjoy the kitchen created by renowned Executive Chef, Schilo Van Coevorden, with over 20 years of experience in gourmet and Michelin-starred restaurants all over the world.

“Schilo” signature restaurant

The restaurant offers a fine dining experience crafted by the hand of the lauded chef, Schilo Van Coevorden. He will impress and surprise you with a mix of Arabic and Asian influences and stimulating world flavors. Service is faultless and all the ingredients used are of high quality as you will see in the open kitchen. Some spices are even cultivated in the private gardens of the hotel. These aspects result in a delightful and elegant dinner for your senses that should not be missed.

Restaurant “El jardin”

Here you can enjoy traditional Iberian food and you'll be able to taste the most exquisite, fresh and best seasonal products Spain has to offer while enjoying panoramic views of the azure Mediterranean Sea framing the private gardens.

Restaurant “don giovanni”

Don Giovanni is a traditional Italian restaurant located within the resort Finca Cortesín just five minutes from reception. The restaurant is directed by famous chef Andrea Tumbarello, great passionate about cooking and creator of Don Giovanni and DG Trattoria restaurants.

Bar - Lounge

The bar in the lounge of the hotel offers a comprehensive menu, such as tapas, sandwiches, fruit cocktails and a wide selection of different teas and daily specialties. Drinks are also served in the patio lounge, the Moroccan adorned chill-out indoor terrace or, if the weather permits it, in the spacious outdoor terrace.

Golf club house: Located at the entrance of Finca Cortesin’s golf course and with stunning views to the Mediterranean Sea you will find the Club House. Including a small shopping area and a spacious terrace from where you can appreciate its tranquility and fresh air, it is definitely the best place to relax after a memorable and exciting golf day. Gastronomic selection is based on a proper golfer´s menu with healthful salads, club sandwiches, pasta and hamburgers.

There are two outdoor pools in the Hotel, each with its own pool bar. Pool Bar 50 serves bespoke cocktails that can be enjoyed under the warm Andalucian sun. Pool Bar 35 on the other hand offers oriental dishes such as arabian mezze, lamb or fish kebabs and a variety of fresh pastas and salads influenced by Middle Eastern flavors.

Wellness

Finca Cortesin's spa offers 2,200 sq metres of space - a place to relax and be rejuvenated. Facilities include a luxury 25m heated swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness centre with the latest technologies, a thermal suite including saunas, steam baths and a unique snow cabin.

As well as the indoor pool, you could also enjoy the 2 outdoor pools; one of 50m and another of 35m all surrounded by gardens.

The fully equipped gym provides staff and machines of the highest calibre.

With a climate that encourages year round play, Andalucia’s newest Golf Club is quickly showing why it is becoming a must-play course destination. Finished in 2006, the course was recently named the new home of the Volvo World Match Play Championship.
